Line is a wacky and sloppy app with zero credibility

Update 3/27/2018 This app continues to become bloated with useless features yet with no ability to remove old media to regain phone space. My LINE is now consuming 4.62 GB, Im sure half of which are old pictures and videos that I would delete if possible. Original 1-star review: LINE is using nearly 4 GB and my iPhone is struggling to have free space despite clearing all my photos and videos from the camera roll. PLEASE add an option to delete pics from LINEs history. Ive already backed everything up to my laptop.

Update 3/27/17: Glad this issue was fixed, but now Im encountering a problem with notifications. Ill receive a text through Line and all notifications for it will disappear completely. Unless I open the app, Ill never have known I receive the text. Its been like this for months, I want to say. This is a 5 star app, but this needs to be resolved before I can rate it that again. Original review: Stickers arent auto suggested before when I type a face emoji or even words. Please fix! The stickers are the main reason I use Line over other messaging apps. I dont want to manually sift through all of my purchased ones each time.

The latest update reloads all the time whenever I switch back to LINE. Worse, it opens up much slower when compared to other apps. The friends tap is also messy. Please make LINE great again with the future updates.

Been using it for years and recently messages are not sending telling me the internet’s not connected when it’s clearly working. Happens to my friend as well and we’re clearly sick of it. Please fix this!

Allow us the option to remove notes made in groups by individuals who have left the room, or no longer have the account.

A texting app is off little use if you must sign in a couple times a day. No way to trust this device so in I am inactive for a time, I have to sign back in. NOT worth the trouble.

LINE spies on users

I don’t want to use your line shopping and I don’t need any notifications, it will be better if I have the option of what service I want to use from your app. Please do something about this Sincerely annoyed!

For some time now (maybe a year), LINE’s sticker suggestion feature hasn’t been working. I’ve followed the help articles and they’re still not showing up. I was hoping it would be fixed by now, but unfortunately not.

Thinking about a messaging app for your group? If you choose Line, you will all grow to regret your decision. The only reason I touch this flaming crap is because my mobile game friends have used it for years, though we all hate it, too. Despite the inconvenience, we’re all going to switch. Line makes finding and connecting to friends incredibly difficult, requiring constant in-game hand-holding to figure out. It mixes ads with real messages, so you don’t know if you got a real message or just more spam. It’s whole aesthetic is an ugly, uncoordinated hash. Worst of all, it’s a gigantic PITA to use. I constantly have to verify my identity and re-type messages and re-login, over and over, multiple times each month. All I use are an iPad, iPhone, and PC, all completely normal configurations. I have no similar problems with anything else, from Messenger to WhatsApp to Twitter. I could forgive the ugliness and ads if Line were actually a net positive thing for the world, but it’s not. What a waste.

I used to love line! but... lately a lot of the features have been disappearing. like I don’t see the read receipts anymore and I don’t get the sticker suggestions anymore even though they’re on. line please fix this. I love this app and I want to continue using it.

I figure sending this to developer!! Edit button on friend list is missing and Setting button is put instead. This is unable to remove friend at the moment. If this change mean something, please do tell how to remove unwanted friends.

No matter what I do, this app keeps reappearing. It won’t delete. It keeps cookies on your device to collect info. If you read about its privacy policy, you can’t opt out & it gives this info to its partners.

iPad app always logs Out. Please fix it so it stays logged in. It’s annoying having to always log in every day or two.
